SOLD, SOLD to the new owner in Fillmore, California. This special automobile had been in the same family for 95 years!!
LISTEN TO IT RUN AND SEE HOW IT DRIVES IN THIS VIDEO - John Wills' grandfather bought this 1925 Chevrolet on October 15, 1926 for $250. He put $150 dollars down and had six months to pay the remaining balance of $100. He paid it and the car stayed in the family until 11/14/2020, that's 95 years! He drove the car through 1950. During WWII, he lived in Vallejo, CA, and used this vehicle to carpool workers to and from the Mare Naval Yard where he worked as a supervisor in the shipwrights shop. For many years, he would also drive the family in this car from Vallejo to Oregon for the summer harvest. They would spend a month there and then drive back. When John's grandfather died, he inherited the car. Between 1963 and 1967, John was in the Air Force at Travis AFB and spent his spare time putting this car back in good running order and back on the road.
