VIDEO!! LISTEN TO THE RUMBLE.... PLUS, NEW INFO ABOUT THE 427 BIG BLOCK!
My name is Jim Woltman. I am the Senior Advisor at Santa Barbara Honda. I purchased this '72 Nova in Anaheim three years ago. I found it for a friend, but when that friend backed out of the deal I felt obligated to buy it and keep my word to the seller. Yes, my wife has been understanding. I completely restored this car and documented my progress here on my Gas Geek page. I'm always tinkering with it, but it's running now. Update as of 11/7/20, this Nova is on the road and it's a beast.
427 Big Block, 4 bolt main, studded on the bottom end, steel crank, forged rods and pistons, 10:1 compression, afr competition heads, studded on top end (cylinder heads), comp roller cam and roller lifters 570/554 lift, 319/299 duration, Weiand hi-rise intake with fitec 800hp fuel injection. It pulls to 7500 rpm, backed up with a M22 Muncie 4 speed with narrowed 9inch with 389 gears.
I am now working on my next project. It's a 1970 El Camino SS and it's here on Gas Geek too.
